
Join us on 23 January 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, for the second webinar in the Key Biodiversity Areas (KBA) series. This session will focus on the KBA National Coordination Group (NCG-KBA): its role and functioning in the reassessment, monitoring, and recognition of KBAs in Cameroon.
This webinar is organized by the Forêts et Développement Rural (FODER), Organization (FODER), with technical support from BirdLife International. The sessions will be facilitated by conservation experts and members of the international KBA Secretariat.
Objectives of this webinar:
- Present the structure, roles, and responsibilities of the NCG-KBA
- Explain how the NCG-KBA contributes to KBA reassessment and monitoring
- Provide a practical conservation example (Menard)
- Answer participants’ questions on the coordination and implementation of KBAs in Cameroon
